If you have a mobile device with a Windows Mobile operating system installed, this software has the ability to get the job done. Unfortunately the software is not available for the iPhone or Blackberry.

Since ArcPad is designed for GIS use, it can exchange data freely with ESRI's other products such as ArcGIS Desktop using the ArcPad Data Manager extension. You can also you data from personal files or geodatabases, however, you are very limited when trying to integrate captured data with other databases and file format types.

Other Features: I like that you have the ability to control the behavior of the application by creating internal logical expressions. You can use looping features (i.e., DO WHILE) and relational operators (i.e., >, <, =, etc.).
